Asynchronous Online Critical Care Paramedic Program.: $1599.00 textbook not included
Due to the increasing demand for qualified specialists in the field of critical care inter-facility transfer, Orlando Medical Institute offers a online Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport Program. This program is specifically designed to equip paramedics and nurses with the advanced skills and confidence necessary to meet the needs of critical care patients during inter-facility transports.
Bridging the Gap in Critical Care Transport
Traditional paramedic education programs focus primarily on providing essential skills for patient management in pre-hospital settings. However, these programs often do not cover the specialized knowledge and skills needed for managing critically ill patients during transfers between hospitals, specialty referral centers, and extended care facilities. Our critical care program fills this gap by offering “post-graduate education” aimed at standardizing training and the level of care in inter-facility transport.
Program Highlights
The Critical Care Paramedic program brings together paramedics and nurses, enhancing their understanding of both pre-hospital and hospital care. Participants gain the ability to provide the highest level of care to critical patients during transport, resulting in a specialized provider well-versed in both aspects of patient care.
